Are you ready to take ownership of social media for a major retail brand portfolio? Forward Role is partnering with a well-established retailer to hire a Senior Social Media Executive who can blend creativity, commercial thinking and strong communication skills to drive their organic social presence forward.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a passionate digital team, shape how the brands show up online, and play a central role in the development of future social initiatives.
What makes this role exciting:

• You'll lead day-to-day organic social activity across key platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and Pinterest.
• You'll influence brand direction by helping plan future campaigns, content themes and audience engagement tactics.
• You'll guide and support Social Media Executives, helping shape their work and development.
• You'll get involved in creative storytelling, data insights, content planning, trend-spotting and team collaboration.
• You'll work on meaningful projects, from lifestyle content to creator partnerships and upcoming commerce features.

What you'll take charge of:

• Building structured social plans that support brand goals and upcoming campaigns.
• Steering daily publishing, scheduling and quality control of content across all key platforms.
• Reviewing performance data and pulling out insights to share with internal teams.
• Offering direction to junior team members and helping maintain smooth workflows.
• Keeping on top of emerging formats, platform updates and cultural trends to influence content ideas.
• Working closely with colleagues in digital, brand, creative and trading teams to bring campaigns to life.
• Assisting with creator/Influencer activity, including outreach and coordinating content where needed.
• Attending shoots or events to help gather social content (optional - not essential to appear on camera).

We're looking for someone who:

• Has around 3-4+ years' experience in social media roles across brand or agency environments.
• Is comfortable shaping ideas, proposing improvements and explaining thinking to stakeholders.
• Enjoys creating or briefing in short-form, mobile-first content.
• Understands how to interpret analytics and use performance data to inform future decisions.
• Has experience supporting or mentoring junior colleagues.
• Communicates clearly and enjoys working collaboratively across different teams.
• Keeps a close eye on social culture, new formats and fresh storytelling styles.
