Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for digital storytelling and building vibrant online communities? We're looking for a
Senior Social Media Manager
to lead and elevate the social presence of a premium, fast-growing direct-to-consumer brand in the luxury space.
As our client's first dedicated social media hire, you'll play a central role in shaping and growing their global social presence. Reporting to the Head of Communications and working within a collaborative Marketing team, you'll be responsible for designing and executing a compelling social media strategy that drives engagement, builds brand affinity, and showcases their unique story to the world.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to lay the foundations for a wider social team. You'll be managing content creation, community engagement, performance analytics, and agency relationships - all while championing the voice of the brand across key platforms including Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
What you'll do...
Develop and implement a creative, data-driven social media strategy tailored to a global audience.
Oversee daily social media operations: scheduling, publishing, and community management.
Collaborate with internal creative, PR, and digital teams, plus external content partners.
Produce long-form, episodic content to deepen storytelling and community connection.
Manage agency and freelancer relationships, including budgets and deliverables.
Partner with digital marketing to align organic and paid social strategies.
Stay ahead of trends and competitor activity to inform strategy and creative.
Analyse performance data and report on KPIs to inform ongoing improvements.
Act as a brand guardian, ensuring all content reflects the brand's values and visual identity.
Respond to customer and media inquiries via social channels in collaboration with internal teams.
Explore partnership opportunities and think outside of the box to continue growing the community.
Who you are...
You have proven experience managing social media for a premium or fast-growing brand (in-house or agency side).
Strong understanding of platform-specific content strategies, especially Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Experience working with agencies/freelancers and managing content production budgets.
Creative flair for storytelling and campaign ideation, matched with strong copywriting skills.
Analytical mindset, with experience using tools to track, report, and optimise social performance.
Collaborative, organised, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of luxury goods or e-commerce is a plus - but a passion for storytelling and community-building is essential.
