An opportunity has arisen for recruitment of a permanent full time Snr Social Worker position within the community long term team The opportunity is open to experienced social workers, looking to widen their experience, as well as aspiring team managers interested in a development opportunity within an established team.

The successful candidate will be part of an established team of Snr Social Workers working across our Adult Social Care service.





The service is busy, lively and interesting and would ideally suit a Snr Social Worker who is proactive and adaptable in leading a team, and who has a passion for ensuring that the adults receiving care and support in our area receive a positive experience when having their needs met. A Snr Social Worker in the service should be strong and supportive and provide good quality support, guidance and leadership.with the guidance of their Team Manager The role is varied on a day-to-day basis and allows for a high level of multi-agency working, creativity and autonomy.



The successful candidate will be part of an established team of Senior Social Workers working across our Adult Social Care service.





Applicants would need to hold a current Social Work qualification and registered with Social Work England. Experience of working with adults is essential along with a good understanding of The Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Continuing Health Care process, and be able to professionally utilise a strengths based approach and be able to make risk assessed decisions to promote the safety of others.
