Senior Social Worker Family Connect needed with Telford & Wrekin Council

Start Date- ASAP

Location - Telford

Duration - Initially 3 months

Hours per week - 37 hours

Salary - \xc2\xa330.57 ltd an hour

Description:

• Family Connect is our "Front Door" service and offers a multi-agency approach to families and professionals in order to assess and offer the right support at the right time."
• You will be able to direct families to the right service to meet the needs of the child and family.
• The safeguarding social workers within Family Connect provide professional, effective and positive responses to all requests for service concerning children in need and children at risk of significant harm.
• You will maintain and update electronic systems in an accurate, concise and timely way

What is required?

• Qualified Social Worker
• Experience in working with children and families in assessing needs, setting tasks and reviewing the progress of action/care plans.
• Knowledge of the child protection process, assessment process, and CIC.
• Ability to use information technology and computerised information systems.
• Experience of managing highly sensitive and confidential information.
