We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Developer - Oracle Intelligent Advisor to lead the design, development, deployment, and integration of end-to-end IA solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in Oracle Policy Modeling (OPM), integrations, deployment strategies, and secure, scalable delivery on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure. A strong understanding of Agile/WAgile delivery practices, accessibility standards, and performance optimization is essential.

(Main Duties and Responsibilities):

Lead the design, development, testing, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance software applications and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, QA, and DevOps to define, design, and ship new features. Architect robust, secure, and maintainable software systems with a focus on scalability and long-term sustainability. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to industry best practices and internal coding standards. Mentor and guide junior developers through code reviews, pair programming, and knowledge sharing sessions. Identify and address performance bottlenecks, security risks, and other technical challenges. Drive improvements in software development processes, tools, and methodologies. Own the delivery of complex features from concept to deployment and support. Participate actively in sprint planning, technical design discussions, and roadmap planning. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and evaluate their potential application to current and future projects.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in professional software development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. Deliver and support end-to-end Oracle IA solutions, from rulebase design to deployment and lifecycle support. Develop and maintain complex IA rulebases using modular, scalable architecture with advanced logic and performance tuning. Handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data efficiently within the IA ecosystem. Integrate IA with third-party systems (e.g., Microsoft SharePoint, Dynamics 365) using REST/JSON, OAuth2, OIDC, and mTLS. Design and secure IA APIs leveraging Microsoft Azure API Management for authentication, rate limiting, IP restrictions, caching, and header transformations. Support embedded and headless interview scenarios through IA Decision and Interview APIs. Deploy and manage IA solutions on Oracle WebLogic in Azure Red Hat Enterprise Linux environments. Configure WebLogic clusters for scalability, high availability, and session management. Utilize Azure services such as Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault for data management and secure operations. Manage Oracle IA upgrades, quarterly security patching (including JDK and WebLogic), and configuration in managed service environments. Design and govern data flows including ingestion, transformation, lineage, and analytics integration. Ensure compliance with data protection and auditability requirements across all IA operations. Apply Agile/WAgile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) for iterative delivery, sprint planning, and backlog management. Ensure accessibility and usability through WCAG-compliant designs and testing tools such as SortSite, JAWS, and Dragon. Align IA delivery with GDS, accessibility, and GDPR/data protection standards, with clear scope and risk management. Expert-level knowledge of building and maintaining IA rulesets, including advanced logic, functions, and performance tuning. In-depth experience with technical IA integrations and deploying/managing applications on WebLogic. Ability to apply Scalable and Secure Solution Delivery principles, including modular rulebase design for high-demand services. Security Clearance: Must meet

requirements. Work Environment: Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, often engaging with other internal delivery teams. Willingness to travel to client sites when required.

Salary: GBP 55000 to GBP 65000 per annum
