suited for a technically strong individual who can work independently, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust
test automation frameworks
using
Selenium
Build and execute automated test scripts for
UI, API, and integration testing
Review functional and technical requirements to ensure complete test coverage
Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
Perform code reviews for test automation code and ensure best practices
Collaborate with developers to improve testability and quality of the codebase
Analyze test results, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions
Mentor junior SDET / QA engineers and provide technical guidance
Drive test automation strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical Skills
10+ years of experience in
Software Testing / SDET roles
Strong hands-on experience with
Selenium WebDriver
Proficiency in
Java
(preferred) or other automation languages (Python, C#)
Strong understanding of
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
concepts
Experience with
TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
Solid experience in
API automation
(RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools)
Experience working with
CI/CD tools
(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Hands-on experience with
Git
or other version control systems
Good understanding of
SQL and databases
Experience testing
web-based and enterprise applications
Testing Knowledge
Strong knowledge of
SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience in
functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing
Ability to design
data-driven and keyword-driven
automation frameworks
Understanding of
cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with
Playwright or Cypress
Exposure to
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with
Docker / Kubernetes
for test environments
Knowledge of
performance testing tools
(JMeter, Gatling)
Experience in
