About our Team:
  • The Software Engineering team at Sage builds and enhances many of the front-end and back-end systems in use at Sage.
  • Our team\xe2\x80\x99s key function is to deliver software solutions that meet the needs of the various business units. Our team works closely with many other parts of the business, typically through Agile ceremonies.
Could you be our new Senior Software Engineer? Do you have?
  • Significant experience as a full stack developer using Microsoft technologies including SQL Server, C#, VB.Net, APIs, MVC, React, .Net Framework and .Net Core.
  • Experience working in a telecommuting capacity as part of an Agile team.
  • Strong planning and organising skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to independently prioritise and balance multiple activities and deadlines.
  • Superb communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Azure cloud platform development experience.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
Your new role:
  • Be a contributing member of one or more Agile teams to focus on developing features and capabilities desired by the business mostly using Microsoft stack technologies.
  • Establish positive relationships with other Agile team members.
  • In conjunction with the solutions architect and other team architects, provide architectural design guidance on new features that fit well with the existing platforms.
  • Implement Lean IT strategies to improve efficiencies.
  • Measure and continuously improve software development practices and procedures.
  • Work with other team members to develop and track metrics to measure the effectiveness of the teams and their members.
