Here at Atlas Copco Deeside, we are looking for a Senior Product Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team and help deliver innovative, embedded software-enabled products that exceed customer expectations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, agile environment and enjoys solving complex engineering challenges.
Roles and responsibilities
Drive Agile Development
- Collaborate in scrum teams to design and deliver smart, sustainable product features aligned with our roadmap.
Code & Standards Excellence
- Develop, review, and maintain code while ensuring compliance with regional and customer-specific standards.
Problem Solving & Quality Assurance
- Lead root-cause analysis and testing to resolve technical issues and improve product reliability.
Documentation & Communication
- Maintain clear engineering documentation and translate requirements into actionable user stories and test cases.
Leadership & Mentorship
- Guide small teams and support internal and external engineers in applying best practices and delivering innovation.

You'll thrive if you have:
Strong Technical Foundation
- Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, with 3+ years of experience in controls or embedded systems.
Programming Expertise
- Proficient in object-oriented programming and familiar with scripting languages like C#, C++, Python, and Structured Text.
Global Collaboration
- Comfortable working across cultures in a global engineering environment, with excellent English communication skills.
Systems & Standards Knowledge
- Familiar with industrial control systems, IEC schematics, and capable of simulating and analyzing system behavior.
