About the role
We are currently seeking a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our team at Sage. You will take ownership of building, enhancing, and maintaining high-quality products and systems that support Sage's business plans and long-term objectives, using the identified architecture. This role involves designing, developing, and delivering robust technical solutions that exceed customer and business partner expectations.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work in a cross-functional environment, developing either React micro frontends or performant scalable backend services. You will be collaborating closely with Product Owners, Architects and other professionals to provide best in class solutions. You'll play a key role in driving architecture and product development, while mentoring and coaching junior team members and continuously improving our software offerings.
Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring you to work 3 days a week from our Manchester office.

- Develop, deliver, maintain, and implement high-quality technical solutions.
- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough code reviews.
- Ensure robust unit testing and maintain relevant documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers to define flexible, extensible, and robust products.
- Automate tasks using appropriate tools and scripts.
- Continuously strive to improve existing products, systems, and services.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
- Seek out and act upon feedback to improve personal and team performance.
- Stay up to date with relevant technology trends and tools.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong experience in C# .NET development.
- Familiarity with micro frontend architecture is desirable.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Good understanding of security best practices.
