Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Solar Installation & Maintenance engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar energy systems. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, construction practices, and system design to ensure that solar installations are completed efficiently and safely. The Solar Installer will work closely with project managers and engineers to deliver high-quality solar solutions to our clients.

Duties

Install solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties. Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and ensure timely completion. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement for solar systems and assist with design. Perform electrical wiring and connections in accordance with local codes and safety standards. Troubleshoot system issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments. Maintain accurate documentation of installation processes, materials used, and project timelines. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding their solar systems.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction or electrical engineering is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings. Experience in project management, including project scheduling and resource allocation. Understanding of systems engineering principles related to solar energy systems. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
