, we're a modern, commercial legal business with a strong reputation for delivering results in debt recovery litigation across a wide range of sectors. We are not a traditional law firm--we think differently, work smarter, and put our people and clients at the heart of everything we do.
We operate in three specialist areas: Finance, Housing, and Local Authority.
This role sits within our Local Authority Team, where our mission is focused on supporting councils across England and Wales in recovering unpaid business rates, council tax, adult social care costs and dealing with associated disputes.
The Opportunity
We're looking for a

Over the last 10 years, our work has helped return more than 27 million to public funds - money that otherwise may have been written off. We are proud to offer support, advice and representation to our local authority clients in the fight against complex rates mitigation schemes and novel disputes in council tax, non-domestic rating and adult social care cases. As a key member of the team, you will:
Manage a caseload of litigated cases, including complex and high value matters within a variety of forums including the appellate courts.
