This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded Senior Associate to lead on complex employment matters within a supportive and award-winning firm.
Key Responsibilities
Advise on the full spectrum of employment law: restructures, redundancy, disciplinaries, grievances, and senior departures
Support M&A, joint ventures, and outsourcing with pragmatic employment law advice
Draft and negotiate employment documentation, including contracts, policies, and settlement agreements
Represent clients in tribunals, court proceedings, and mediation
Advise directors and senior individuals on exit arrangements and post-termination obligations
Collaborate with pensions and immigration specialists on cross-disciplinary matters
Participate in business development, marketing, and client seminars
Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to team leadership
About You
Minimum 5 years' PQE (exceptional candidates above/below considered)
Strong track record advising employers on a broad range of HR and employment law matters
Experience in employment litigation, dispute resolution, and tribunal advocacy
Skilled in advising senior executives on exits and settlement agreements
Familiarity with employment support for M&A and corporate transactions
Excellent drafting, technical, and commercial skills
Strong communication, responsiveness, and client relationship management
Interest in business development
Strong academic background and commitment to service excellence
Desirable (not essential):
TUPE advice and drafting
Knowledge of agency worker regulations
Exposure to business immigration and right to work compliance
Familiarity with pensions or regulatory employment matters in financial services
