The Role

We're seeking a confident and charismatic Senior Sommelier to join the vibrant front of house team at The Roof Gardens. As a warm and professional presence, you'll become a familiar face to our members, ensuring their experience is seamless, welcoming, and memorable from beginning to end.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum 1 years' experience as a Senior Sommelier in the luxury hospitality market WSET qualification or equivalent industry certification Manage daily wine service operations, including opening and closing duties, ensuring full compliance with quality and service standards Provide personalised wine recommendations to members and guests to elevate their dining experience Greet and engage members and guests warmly, creating a memorable first impression Support in curating a wine list that reflects The Roof Gardens' commitment to excellence Collaborate with the Head Sommelier and Head Chefs to develop innovative wine pairings that complement the menu offering Design and assist in the delivery of comprehensive wine training programmes for F&B, FOH, and Events teams to enhance product knowledge and boost sales Communicate effectively with the Sommelier team to ensure clarity of responsibilities and delivery of exceptional service Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
