The Role



We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and delivering consistently high food quality. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a motivated chef ready to take the next step in their career within a forward-thinking and ambitious operation.

You will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring standards are maintained at all times, contributing creatively to menu development and service execution.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a pivotal time. We have recently completed a major modern refurbishment designed by an award-winning restaurant designer, and we are preparing to expand operations throughout 2026. The successful candidate will be an integral part of this growth journey.

Salary & Benefits



34,000 per annum based on a 40-hour working week excluding gratuities. Gratuities are paid per hour worked, averaging 600-850 per calendar month, and are paid monthly via wages. Key Responsibilities



Support the head chef in day-to-day kitchen operations Work closely with the FOH, Bar and management teams to ensure guest satisfaction and guest experiences Lead food preparation, oversee pass and be able to step into any section as needed to maintain an efficient service Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen brigade Overseeing food preparation and service for both lunch and dinner services. Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness Assist with menu development and specials Manage stock control, ordering, and wastage Contribute to menu development and continuous improvement, ensuring kitchen standards Step into the head chef role when required

About You



A strong background as a senior sous chef in Mediterranean or similar fresh, seasonal cuisine Passion for high-quality food and fresh ingredients Strong leadership and communication skills Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen compliance Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented A calm, positive attitude under pressure and commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences

Hours



This is a full-time position that includes evening, weekend, and split shifts. Weekend availability is essential due to the nature of the hospitality industry.
