As a Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety are maintained. Duties

Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities. Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation. Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards. Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene practices within the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Collaborate with the Head Chef to implement new cooking techniques and menu items. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management. Comprehensive knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques. Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on food preparation and presentation. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Exceptional leadership qualities with a passion for mentoring others. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to delivering outstanding service.
