We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support the implementation of our Data and AI Governance initiatives. This role will play a key part in supporting the team establish of governance processes, audits, managing risks, and ensuring data privacy in close collaboration with the Legal and Privacy teams. The post holder will also contribute to the development and maintenance of relevant governance tools.



The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and a keen interest in expanding their expertise in governance, audit, and privacy. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying policies, standards, and guidelines to ensure effective and compliant data and AI practices.




Key Responsibility





Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation covering the tactical, strategic, and operational aspects of day-to-day governance activities. This includes supporting the collaboration efforts with stakeholders across business units, Legal, and technology teams within Gen Re. Ensure that the team's deliverables provide value to stakeholders through accurate requirements analysis, detailed process mapping, and effective communication.




Specifications:




Good understanding of data and AI governance concepts. Some experience in an analyst role supporting the implementation of data governance programs, following industry-standard frameworks and internal strategies. Hands-on experience in supporting data governance tools, audit process and risks management efforts in collaboration with governance leads, engineers, data stewards, and project managers. Solid understanding of modern end-to-end data architecture, including components such as data pipelines, data lakes, data orchestration, and reporting platforms. Take ownership of capturing and documenting necessary information, in a language and notation that is usable by engineers during 'as-is' governance analysis of data landscapes, processes, roles, and responsibilities to reflect the current state. Collaborate with engineers on requirements analysis, design, and documentation of 'to-be' workflows, and support the implementation process. Effective stakeholder communication and experience in managing data governance workshops. Exposure to regulated work environments and familiarity with regulations and international standards in the data and AI governance domain.
