Are you a passionate Speech and Language Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children, young people and their families We are seeking a motivated clinician to join our dynamic Neurodevelopmental Team, where your expertise will play a key role in assessing children and young people up to 18 years old in relation to possible autism and/or language needs.
Main duties of the job
As an integral member of our CAMHS team, you will carry out observations, specialist assessments and contribute to comprehensive reports that inform high-quality, clinically compliant assessment pathways.
Your professional voice and skills are an essential part of our multi-disciplinary approach to understanding and supporting each young person. Alongside your CAMHS colleagues, you will be part of a wider team of supportive speech and language therapists who work in a range of teams, giving you opportunities to share expertise, learn from others, and access high-quality training and supervision.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of an experienced and inclusive team - one that is passionate about supporting children, young people and their families.
The team is in a position to be able to help staff develop the knowledge and experience within CAMHS and offer additional training as appropriate to the role but are keen to recruit an individual who has some experience in this area and can bring that experience and knowledge to our team. If you enjoy a challenge, and are flexible, enthusiastic and eager to grow your specialist skills within CAMHS and neurodevelopmental practice, we'd love to hear from you.
