Are you an experienced Endoscopy Nurse seeking a new challenge in a collaborative and innovative environment?



At Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Junior Sister / Charge Nurse to join our friendly team and play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred endoscopy services. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your clinical leadership, education, and management skills within one of London's leading teaching hospitals.



You will be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence, research, and innovation in endoscopy care. You will lead by example, support junior staff, and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality. You'll also work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to deliver efficient and patient-focused services across our sites.



Deliver safe, effective and compassionate care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.



Lead and assist the endoscopist and multidisciplinary team during procedures including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, EUS, ERCP and bronchoscopy.



Monitor, assess and evaluate patients with before during, and after procedures.



Support junior staff, students and new team members by sharing knowledge and promoting a positive learning environment.



Participate in audits, training and continuous improvements activities within JAG -accredited Endoscopy Unit.



Conduct Personal Development Reviews (PDRs), competency, assessment and ongoing performance feedback for junior staff.



Manage staff sickness, attendance, and performance in line with Trust policies.



Contribute to e-Rostering and workforce planning to maintain safe staffing levels across all shifts.



Safely manage and troubleshoot endoscopy equipment, report and escalate faults promptly.
