Priory Hospital Barnt Green is looking to recruit a Senior Staff Nurse- Mental Health or Learning Disability to join the team Priory Hospital Barnt Green is a purpose-built hospital with a 10-bed private ward. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours.



We offer mental health support for both adults and young people, including access to specialist therapy and psychiatry. We also provide private autism assessments for adults, helping people better understand themselves and access the right support.

We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Senior Staff Nurse- Mental Health or Learning Disability, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patientsContribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary team Build relationships and effectively communicates and engages with external professionals and stake holders Accurately communicate with, observe and engage with patients in order to assess need and evaluate progress. Understand and participate in relevant quality improvement processes and clinical governance supporting the site to achieve high standards of person centred care and regulatory outcomes

We are seeking a Qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration, and completion of a preceptorship or equivalent programme. The ideal candidate will have a sound knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices, along with evidence of continued professional development. They will demonstrate a positive attitude, a commitment to quality and improvement, and the ability to adopt flexible and innovative approaches to practice. Strong verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills are essential for this role.
