Job Description

Skylink Lifts is a business with over 15 years in the lift and stairlift industry. Having successfully built the stairlift removals division of our company over the last decade we are now in the process of expanding our installations division.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Stairlift Engineer based remotely and at our offices and warehouse in Mirfield. The Stairlift Engineer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, servicing, surveying, repair of stairlifts and supporting less experienced engineers. The role also involves providing excellent customer service, offering technical advice, and documenting activities. Previous sales experience may include commission based extra income.

Qualifications

- Previous installation experience in the stairlift industry is a must

- Proficiency in mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of stairlifts

- An understanding on a range of models such as Acorn, Handicare, Stannah and Thyssenkrupp is advantageous

- A clean drivers licence is advantageous

- Understanding of electrical systems, diagnostics, and safety regulations

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Previous experience in stairlift sales is advantageous

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
