Job Description

We are a respected and professional services firm, and we are seeking a commercially minded Strategy Manager to join our leadership team. This newly created role will focus on developing and delivering strategic initiatives across our UK operations, enhancing business performance, and driving long-term organisational growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and execution of the UK strategic roadmap in collaboration with senior leadership. Identify commercial opportunities, operational improvements, and strategic risks across our core service areas. Drive high-impact transformation initiatives that support growth, client delivery, and employee experience. Coordinate key programmes from planning through to implementation, ensuring alignment with performance and profitability targets. Translate business data and market trends into actionable insights and clear recommendations. Create and manage reporting structures and frameworks to measure success and track KPIs. Present strategic findings and proposals to the leadership team and influence decisions at board level. Embed best practice in change management, performance improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Develop internal frameworks and toolkits to support strategic delivery across teams.
Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a strong background in business transformation or corporate strategy. You will be confident managing cross-functional projects, influencing senior stakeholders, and operating in fast-paced, change-driven environments.

You will have:

Proven experience in a Strategy Manager, Business Transformation Lead, or Senior Consultant role (either in-house or within a top-tier consultancy). A track record of leading cross-functional strategic projects in complex organisations. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience influencing C-suite and senior leadership. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into action. Sound commercial judgement and awareness of business performance levers. Knowledge of performance improvement frameworks (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, Balanced Scorecard). Experience working within professional services, legal, financial services, or corporate sectors. A proactive mindset with the ability to deliver at pace and independently drive initiatives forward. A background in management consulting or experience supporting large-scale organisational change is highly beneficial. A relevant qualification (e.g. MBA, business degree, or equivalent experience).

Salary: 100,000 - 120,000 depending on experience. Annual bonus scheme. Hybrid working (remote plus 1-2 days per month in our central London office).
