We are recruiting for a Senior Structural Engineer.
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our practice in Nottingham City Centre, candidate must have 5 to 10 years of experience within the UK. Full time preferrable but will consider part time for the right candidate.

We require the right candidate to have at least 5-10 years of UK Experience, above your technical ability you should be a good communicator, practical, enthusiastic and a team player.
The successful applicant will be working on local and national schemes from the individual and unique to the prestigious and functional. You will be working with a friendly team, within a relaxed working environment.
The ideal candidate should have experience of designing in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry. Projects are varied across the built environment, and you will be completing designs for structures using all common build materials.
By utilising strong organisational and communication skills, this candidate will also have the ability to execute a project based on the criteria outlined.
The candidate should be self-motivated and take ownership of work, be able to work under pressure on several projects at once and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support to projects - completing structural designs for an exciting range of schemes which vary across all sectors.
Utilise a mixture of structural software and hand calculations where required, to complete designs, and produce sketches and mark-ups where required.
Work closely with Structural Technicians and other members of the Design Team to ensure accurate and drawing packages are produced, to fulfill the Client's brief.
Some experience of Structural Inspections and Report Writing.
Attendance to site and design team meetings where required.
Qualifications
Ideally have bachelor's degree in civil/Structural Engineering.
Minimum 5 to 10 years of post-graduation Structural Consultancy experience, ideally with a view to attaining Chartership or already Chartered.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
A full UK driving license would be advantageous.
