Position Overview:

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Technician with expertise in Revit to join their dynamic team in Glasgow.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in using AutoCAD and Revit, with a robust understanding of BIM Level 2 processes.

As a Senior Structural Technician, you will play a pivotal role in delivering structural steelwork drawings, reinforced concrete drawings, and RC detailing for a variety of projects, including those within the defence and energy sectors, as well as building structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and detailed structural steelwork drawings, reinforced concrete drawings, and RC detailing using Revit.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure the effective integration of structural designs into BIM Level 2 workflows.
• Assist in the development and implementation of BIM standards and procedures.
• Work closely with project managers to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
• Conduct quality control checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in BIM and Revit technology.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.
• Strong understanding of BIM Level 2 processes and standards.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural drafting and detailing.
• Experience in delivering structural drawings for projects in the defence, energy, or building structures sectors is preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
