The role
As a Senior Supervisor Mechanical, you\'ll have a role that\'s out of the ordinary. Efficient supervision and completion of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on all items of Mechanical Equipment (Mechanical Transport and Aircraft Support Equipment) in support of RAF Cosford, RAF Shawbury and associated parenting responsibilities.

Day to day, you\'ll hold and effectively operate inventories, as well as:

• Operate as the Joint Asset Management and Engineering Solutions (JAMES) Controller.
• Supervise and lead the mechanical elements within the general engineering section.
• Deputise for the GES manager as and when required.
• The successful fulfilment of the contracted tasking of the MTMS and ASE tasks to include Aircraft Arrester Barrier, ensuring that all activities carried out are to a high quality and in accordance with the appropriate standards, practices, technical publications, and procedures.

This role is full time and based primarily at RAF Cosford however you may be required to travel to RAF Shawbury.

Essential experience of the Senior Supervisor Mechanical

• Previously RAF Trade Group 5 or a Civilian Equivalent.
• Supervisory experience
• Knowledge of Military Engineering Publications, Documents and Procedures.
• Sufficiently experienced to gain the appropriate level Engineering Authorisations within their Area of Responsibility (AoR).
• HGV Licence with CPC

Qualifications for the Senior Supervisor Mechanical

• JAMES qualified
• ADR Qualified

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.
