76,000 - 98,000 (dependent on experience)

WORKING PATTERN:

Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites


About This Opportunity



As a Senior Supply Manager in you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the strategic vision for workforce supply across our Business & Commercial Banking (BCB) division.


You'll lead on resource tracking and forecasting across an organisation of c5,000 colleagues, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets and operational needs. This role includes end-to-end management of permanent, temporary, offshore and Opex resourcing, working closely with internal collaborators and external partners to deliver both accuracy in reporting and a seamless service across the organisation.


This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong analytical, communication, and partner management skills and who is passionate about continuous improvement and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities





Budget & Supply Governance:



Maintain accurate supply models (including rolling LVs) by grade to inform quarterly financial processes, including tracking and forecasting of business as usual, investment, OPEX and 3rd party FTE, recruitment, leavers and returners Produce month end supply FTE reporting including key drivers of variances to Budget/ QXF Ensure recruitment and supply activity aligns with budgeted trajectories and demand to support delivery of customer service and cost objectives Identify supply release mechanisms following benefit delivery, optimising colleague redeployment and experience, as well as cost Design and deliver roll out plan for supply governance across all BCB teams (customer and non customer facing) Submission of BAU, OPEX and 3rd Party FTE as part of quarterly financial process

Data & MI Reporting:



Produce and interpret detailed management information to track performance, and identify trends or risks Make proactive and data driven recommendations to address changes in supply trends in order to maintain customer service delivery e.g. recruitment / colleague redeployment in response to higher attrition trends.

Partner Engagement:



Build and maintain strong relationships with operational leaders, Finance, HR, and external suppliers to ensure seamless delivery of supply and recruitment plans.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify and drive process improvements across supply and recruitment activities. Share standard methodologies and contribute to a culture of innovation and efficiency, reducing manual effort.

Team Management/ Collaboration:



Manage a team of c5FTE. Work as part of the wider Planning and Performance Team, contributing to shared goals and supporting the development of others.

Presentation & Communication:



Support the creation of key planning and resource presentations for senior partners.

Personal Development:



Take ownership of your own development plan, seeking opportunities to grow and contribute to the wider success of the team and organisation.

What You'll Need



Strategic Workforce Planning

: Proven experience in leading end-to-end resource tracking and forecasting across large-scale operations, including permanent, temporary, offshore, and Opex resourcing.

Financial Acuity

: Strong capability in managing supply models and producing detailed FTE reporting aligned to budget, OPEX, and investment targets, with a focus on variance analysis and cost optimisation.

Advanced Data & MI Proficiency

: Expertise in generating and interpreting complex management information to identify trends, risks, and drive data-led decision-making.

Partner Management & Influence

: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with senior operational leaders, Finance, HR, and external suppliers to align supply strategies with business goals.

Leadership & Governance

: Experience in designing and embedding supply governance frameworks, managing a team, and contributing to wider planning and performance objectives.

Continuous Improvement Approach

: Track record of driving process improvements across supply and recruitment activities, fostering innovation and reducing manual effort.
