Senior Support Team Lead
-- a proactive leader who will oversee the day-to-day operations of our client support function, drive team performance, and uphold high standards of service delivery.
This is a front-line role for someone who takes ownership, leads by example, and ensures every detail is managed with care. The Role As Senior Support Team Lead, you'll manage and coach the support team, while also rolling up your sleeves to handle complex cases and admin tasks yourself.
You'll be the operational link between advisers, paraplanners, and administrators, ensuring every client case moves forward quickly, accurately, and compliantly -- from onboarding to annual reviews.
If you're qualified, you'll also have the chance to take on paraplanning duties -- but leadership and delivery come first.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop the
Client Managers
to consistently deliver proactive, high-quality service.
Allocate and track workloads, making sure deadlines are met and advisers are fully supported.
Personally handle high-priority or complex client administration tasks.
Oversee onboarding, annual reviews, and ongoing service delivery -- ensuring advisers walk into meetings fully prepared.
Monitor case progression, spot bottlenecks, and resolve issues before they escalate.
Act as the go-to operational contact for advisers and paraplanners.
Maintain compliance and quality standards across all processes. o Identify and implement efficiency improvements in systems and workflows.
(Optional, if qualified) Undertake paraplanning tasks: research, technical analysis, and report preparation.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Strong track record in financial services administration (pensions, investments, insurance, wealth management).
Proven leadership skills -- able to manage people, processes, and priorities simultaneously.
Proactive mindset -- you spot what needs to be done and make it happen without being asked.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
Desired:
Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or working towards).
Experience in paraplanning or technical support roles.
