We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and highly motivated
Senior Support Worker
to provide high-quality support to individuals with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and behaviours that may challenge, while also offering day-to-day leadership and guidance to support teams.
The Senior Support Worker will play a key role in ensuring safe, person-centred, and outcome-focused support across services in
, including mentoring staff, overseeing care practices, supporting rota planning, and ensuring care plans and risk assessments are followed and regularly reviewed.
Support will take place in
building-based settings and within the community
, including leisure, social, and skill-building activities that promote independence, confidence, and wellbeing.
The Senior Support Worker will support individuals on a
1:1, 2:1, or small group basis (up to 4 individuals)
and will be expected to model best practice, lead by example, and respond confidently to complex situations.
Strong
communication, leadership, and written skills
are essential, alongside the ability to work calmly, creatively, and proactively. The role requires someone who can work collaboratively with families, professionals, and internal management teams.
