Senior Support Worker

to help lead our team in delivering outstanding care.

The Role



As a

Senior Support Worker

, you'll play a key role in ensuring the day-to-day running of our housing support and supported living services. You'll provide direct support to individuals, lead and mentor support staff, and uphold the highest standards of practice.

Your responsibilities will include:



Providing person-centred support to individuals with a range of needs (e.g. learning disabilities, mental health, or physical support). Supporting the Service Manager with staff supervision, rota planning, and shift coordination. Promoting independence, dignity, and choice for the people we support. Ensuring care plans, risk assessments, and support records are accurate and up to date. Supporting new staff through induction and training. Maintaining compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) codes of practice.

About You



You'll be an experienced support worker ready to take the next step, or an existing senior looking for a fresh challenge. You'll have a passion for improving lives and the confidence to lead by example.

Essential criteria:



SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards this qualification). Experience in housing support, supported living, or a similar setting. Strong understanding of person-centred and outcomes-focused practice. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills. Registration (or eligibility to register) with the

SSSC

. Flexibility to work shifts, including some evenings and weekends.

Desirable:



Driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Experience supporting individuals with complex needs.
