About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated

Senior Support Worker

to join our caring and professional team at our Nursing Home. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting others and a commitment to delivering high-quality care to residents during night shifts.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a key role in leading the care team, ensuring residents' physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the care team during night shifts. Deliver high standards of personal and person-centred care to residents. Ensure care plans and documentation are maintained accurately and up to date. Monitor residents' wellbeing and report any changes promptly. Promote independence, dignity, and respect in all aspects of care. Support and mentor junior staff, ensuring teamwork and consistency in care delivery. Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents.

Requirements

Previous experience in a

senior care or supervisory role

within a care or nursing home. Strong

communication and leadership skills

. Excellent

organisational skills

and the ability to prioritise workload effectively. A compassionate, empathetic, and professional approach. Hold or be working towards

NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care

.
