Senior Support Worker

to join our leadership team and help deliver exceptional care, safeguarding and practice oversight.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who is confident in supporting complex needs, leading staff on shift, and maintaining high standards in line with Ofsted and regulatory expectations.

About the Role

As a Senior Support Worker, you will:

Deliver high-quality, child-centred and family-focused support Act as the

safeguarding lead on shift

, identifying and responding to concerns Provide

day-to-day leadership, mentoring and guidance

to Support Workers Hold a

reduced but complex keyworking caseload

Ensure excellent standards of recording, care planning and practice Support the Manager in maintaining an

Ofsted-ready service

About You

You will have:

Minimum 5 years' experience

supporting children and young people in care A

Level 3 qualification

in Health & Social Care / Children & Young People (or equivalent) Strong safeguarding knowledge and the confidence to lead on shift Experience mentoring staff and challenging poor practice appropriately Excellent communication, organisation and professional judgement

Desirable:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management in Social Care (or working towards) Experience within supported accommodation or parent & child settings
