Senior Support Worker - Thornbury (14-15 per hour) Location: Thornbury, South Gloucestershire Salary: 14-15 per hour Shifts Available: Day and Night
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team in Thornbury, delivering person-centred care across residential, dementia, and respite services.
Our care is thoughtfully tailored to each individual, offering a supportive and inclusive environment where residents feel safe, respected, and engaged. From personalised care plans to enriching daily routines, we focus on dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and professionals
Ensure care plans are followed and regularly reviewed
Support with personal care, medication, and daily living activities
Promote a safe, nurturing environment for all residents
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' experience in a care or support role
NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
Strong leadership and communication skills
Good verbal and written communication is essential
Must be computer literate and confident using digital care systems
Empathetic, proactive, and committed to person-centred care
Flexibility to work day or night shifts, including weekends
