We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to children living in our 2 bedded Ofsted Registered home. This role will include working shifts on a 2 on, 4 off rota. Sleep ins are paid at 65.00.
Duties
Assist with daily living activities, including meal preparation, and medication management.
Develop and implement individual care plans tailored to each child's needs and preferences.
Provide emotional support, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
Supervise and lead a team of support staff, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
Maintain accurate records.
Communicate effectively with children, families, and professionals to coordinate care.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
Previous experience in residential children's homes.
Strong leadership skills with the capability to motivate others.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and documentation is advantageous.
