50,000 - 100,000 base + performance-linked bonus (flexible depending on book/revenue)

Seniority:

Mid-level (3-7 years experience)

Certifications:

FCA Registered, CISI or equivalent (preferred)

Overview

We're a fast-growing, independent brokerage with strong backing and clear growth ambitions - particularly in the Construction, Surety (Bonds), and Property space. We're building something with substance - and we're looking for sharp, entrepreneurial brokers who want more autonomy and a seat at the table.

What you will do:

Trade actively in the Broker-to-Broker market, particularly across construction, surety, property or adjacent lines (e.g. crime, financial lines) Collaborate with London-based and Bristol-based colleagues to grow a high-performing, national presence Bring or build a book of recurring, profitable clients Offer guidance on market appetite, pricing, placement, and retention strategies Navigate complex risk scenarios with creativity, speed, and professionalism Influence the firm's direction - whether that's product expansion, team structure, or potential London buildout

What you will bring:

3-7 years' experience in a broking role with exposure to construction, surety, or property markets Proven track record trading with other brokers (wholesale or broker-to-broker) A partial or portable book is a huge plus FCA registration and ideally CISI, Dip CII or equivalent qualification (or working toward it) A commercial, client-first mindset - and the confidence to operate with autonomy Appetite for scale, growth, and potentially long-term equity incentives
