After an exceptional year across our real estate sectors, our continued growth has created the need for a strong Development Monitoring Surveyor to support the delivery of outstanding projects for a diverse and high-profile client base. As a result, we are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our existing monitoring team in London. We are keen to hear from professionals who can hit the ground running.


In this role, you will be responsible for preparing due diligence reports throughout the development project lifecycle from initial reporting through monitoring and close out. You will be client and project team facing, help the team drive business development, network, and identify new business opportunities. You will also take ownership of and manage existing relationships with a diverse range of high-profile investor, lender and developer clients, leading crucial work that supports unique projects of multi-million-pound value across a diverse range of all development sectors from residential, logistics and industrial, offices hotels and more.


To be successful in this role, you should have relevant qualifications such as MRICS/CIOB/MAPM, experience in a similar real estate/building consultancy, and a strong background in Development Monitoring services or an area that is closely aligned such as quantity surveying. You should be confident in client-facing situations, motivated to grow the service/team under the existing strong leadership and experienced in working on multi-million-pound projects.


The key responsibilities for the role:



Preparation of initial reports (including management of documents and review of financial information, benchmarking, technical documents, legal documents, planning and other regulatory approvals, specialist reports, site and environmental information) Liaising with clients and their legal advisors Driving forward the Development Monitoring service through business development, networking and identifying new business opportunities wherever possible Take ownership of and manage existing relationships with high-profile clients and lead on unique projects of multi-million pound value Site inspections, attendance at progress meetings, preparation of interim reports including drawdown recommendations Attendance at PC inspections and preparation of PC reports, confirming that all PC criteria has been met

Experience, Qualification & Skills Required:



MRICS/CIOB/MAPM of other relevant qualification desirable Experience within a similar real estate/building consultancy Strong background providing Development Monitoring services or an area closely aligned such as quantity surveying (from either contractor, developer or consultant) and an interest in focussing on this Able to work with a high level of independence/autonomy and can hit the ground running Client-facing, confident with business development and motivated to grow the service/team Experienced working on multi-million pound value projects and knowledge of industrial/logistics, residential and office sector beneficial
