Senior Surveyor, UK Industrial & Logistics, London Multi-Let



Role Purpose:



We are seeking an experienced and commercially-driven Senior Surveyor to join our market-leading Industrial & Logistics Multi-Let agency team. This is a client-facing role for an established professional who will take ownership of key client relationships, drive active business development, and deliver comprehensive agency services across our multi-let portfolio. You will work with our prestigious global client base while building your own network and contributing to the continued growth of our market-leading platform.



What This Job Involves:



Your key responsibilities will be -



Client Relationship Ownership

Take direct responsibility for managing and developing relationships with key clients in our global portfolio, including leading developers and institutional funds such as British Land, Legal & General, Blackstone, Prologis, and SEGRO. You will act as their primary point of contact for multi-let instructions and strategic advice.



Property Marketing & Lettings

Lead comprehensive marketing campaigns for vacant units across multi-let estates. This includes creating marketing materials, coordinating professional photography, managing online listings, and developing targeted marketing strategies to attract quality occupiers.



Property Inspections & Valuations

Conduct detailed property inspections, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide rental valuations and market advice. You will assess unit condition, recommend improvements, and advise clients on optimal letting strategies.



Active Business Development

Proactively develop new business opportunities through networking, relationship-building, and market engagement. You will identify potential new clients, support pitch presentations, and work to expand JLL's instruction base in the multi-let sector.



Transaction Execution

Manage the full lettings process from initial marketing through to lease completion. This includes conducting viewings, negotiating terms, coordinating legal processes, and ensuring smooth transaction delivery.



Market Intelligence & Reporting

Maintain current market knowledge and provide clients with regular performance reports, market updates, and strategic recommendations. You will contribute to wider team intelligence and market commentary.



Networking & Market Presence

Build your professional profile within the industrial property community through active participation in industry events, professional associations, and market forums.



Desired Skills and Experience:



We are looking for an established agency professional with strong commercial drive.



Qualifications

MRICS qualified is essential



Agency Experience

Proven track record in industrial & logistics agency work, with specific experience in multi-let properties and portfolio management - typically, 2-4 years post-qualification experience in a client-facing agency environment.



Business Development Skills

Demonstrated ability to generate new business, build client relationships, and contribute to fee income growth through proactive market engagement.



Marketing & Presentation

Strong skills in property marketing, including experience with marketing materials, digital platforms, and client presentations.



Client Management

Proven track record of managing institutional and developer clients, with the gravitas to operate as a trusted advisor on significant portfolios.



Commercial Acumen

Solid understanding of industrial property markets, rental values, lease structures, and the specific dynamics of multi-let assets.



Communication & Networking

Excellent interpersonal skills with confidence in client-facing situations, networking events, and business development activities.
