Job purpose:



You'll be based in our Cotton Exchange office in Liverpool City Centre - but you'll also look after and spend time in our other spaces close by including: The Plaza & Cotton House



The team is made up of specialist Surveyors and an Operations team who you'll work with day to day. Taking ownership of the Commercial Account Management of our customers, focussing on lease renewals/retention, as well as taking ownership of the Asset Management of our Liverpool portfolio.



The role is split approximately 70% commercial retention, 30% asset management.


What we're looking for:


Ideally you'll be a multi-disciplined Surveyor, with experience in commercial and asset management It's not necessary to be qualified, but if you RICS qualified this'll be a bonus A customer focused individual, who can build great working relationships with customers and a multi disciplinary team, someone who enjoys building long term relationships Proactive - with the ability to make decisions effectively and lead by example An excellent communicator and collaborator who can maintain great relationships during commercial negotiations with customers and stakeholders. You are analytical and can use data and insight to support decision making.

What you'll be doing:


Lead on lifecycle account management: lease renewals, rent reviews, expansions, contractions, and debt management. Manage deal & negotiation (from initial enquiry through to deal completion) in a way that enhances value across the portfolio and enhances the prospect of long-term customer occupancy, including negotiating and documenting all aspects of customer events through their lifecycle Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a customer centric approach to decision making and delivery. Promote customer success by connecting them to relevant products, services, business support and community initiatives. Represent the business at customer events, networking sessions, and community engagements. Lead day-to-day asset management of the Liverpool estate, working closely with Operational, Construction, and Commercial teams. By owning and managing the portfolio's P&L, setting and delivering asset strategies aligned with business objectives. Working with the Property Management team to maintain oversight of service charge budgets, expenditure, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy, value, and customer satisfaction. Monitor ad hoc/non-contractual spend, ensuring alignment with strategy and cost-efficiency. Maintain building-level reporting to support operational oversight & ensuring complete and accurate building data across all systems. Coordinate timely delivery of ratings, insurance, professional services activities and the monitoring & approval of commercial transactions to ensure they align with target returns and valuation assumptions.
