Climate17 are proud to be working with a leading provider of real estate solutions who work with their clients on wide-ranging projects, it can range from delivering responsible business and Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategies, and managing climate-related risks, through to implementing energy management, renewable infrastructure, and wellbeing programmes.

We are seeking to recruit a driven and dynamic Senior Consultant to join a rapidly expanding Sustainability team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious, entrepreneurial sustainability team within a Real Estate firm, working with diverse key stakeholders and client base to develop and support in delivering their objectives.

You would have the opportunity to work closely with a variety of Real Estate clients in order to advise them on Net Zero and ESG strategies and implementation pathways. In addition, you will be involved in discussions with real estate investors/corporates on key sustainability topics and will be helping them to launch sustainability programmes along with implementing sustainability and energy conversation measures.

Requirements

  • Experience in producing Energy Strategies for new and existing buildings using dynamic simulation softwares (IES)Experience in carrying out Life Cycle Assessments
  • Working knowledge of building certification standards, BREEAM/LEED (especially refurbishment projects).
  • Demonstrate experience in the design and delivery of energy management programmes within the built environment including utility data management, target setting, energy analysis, legislative compliance and energy auditing
  • Experience in routine reporting internally and externally for client stakeholders
  • Evident passion to drive energy efficiency within the built environment
  • Strong client relationship and programme management skills
  • Strong verbal and graphic communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, team-focused environment
  • Highly motivated and self-assured individual with drive for self-development
  • Level 5 NDEA
  • BREEAM/LEED AP and Assessor
  • Working knowledge of building certification standards like WELL, Fitwel or ISO
  • Practical experience of operating and utilising online data management platforms
