We are looking for a
Senior
Systems Engineer
to join our Smarter Decisioning Platform team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc.
This role will be focused on working with a team of system engineers (Associate/Senior and Lead) to design, develop, maintain, and optimise job scheduling workflows using Broadcom AutoSys Workload Automation across on-premises and cloud (AWS).
You will co-ordinate activity within your team, devise and implement complex solutions, promote, implement, and collaborate to evolve our practice standards and patterns, and act as a subject matter expert with architecture and product teams.

What you'll be doing
Coordinating activities and delivering technical solutions to our stakeholders with the Product Team.
Design, develop, and maintain job scheduling workflows using Broadcom AutoSys, including creating JIL scripts and implementing dependencies, calendars, and alerts.
Monitor and troubleshoot job issues, collaborate with application teams for onboarding, manage changes, and maintain documentation for standards and best practices.
Leveraging automation including Configuration Management to continually improve our processes and service operations targets.
Devise and implement solutions, promote, implement, and collaborate to evolve our practice standards and patterns.
Maintain and work against medium to long-term plans to improve automated Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines,
Improve quality, feedback loops and boost productivity across teams in Agile Value Stream.
Contribute to embedding an agile mindset and approach focused on improving outcomes.
We need you to have
Experience with Scripting (Python, Perl, Shell, Powershell, Groovy).
Experience with CI/CD workflows (We use Jenkins as our pipeline tool).
Experience with AWS Services (EC2, S3, IAM).
Understanding of ITIL processes and change management.
And if you have any of these, even better
Experience with Broadcom AutoSys Workload Automation / Job Scheduling.
Hands on experience with Jenkins.
Knowledge of SAFe and/or Agile practices.
