PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This exciting role sits in the BBC's Technology & Media Operations group, which delivers the technology requirements of the BBC across broadcast, enterprise, and digital to the strategy set by the business.
Reporting into the Procurement Systems Engineering manager, the role, working in partnership with third parties and peers supporting the broader corporate systems landscape, will be responsible for overseeing the implementation, management, and optimisation of the Procurement systems within the BBC, largely SAP and SAP partner solutions. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our procurement solutions align with business objectives and deliver value to the BBC.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND IMPACT:
Acting as a Co-ordinator for Small/Medium technical changes, clarifying requirements submitted by BBC Business Users and managing a change process followed by an outsourced technology provider, including Documentation Review, Technical Build, Testing Cycles, Production Deployment and Post Go-Live support
Acting as a trusted team member for larger projects with technical change elements, working closely with Project Management and Project Stakeholders to deliver timely, high quality outcomes
Building relationships with Internal and External stakeholders, offering support and influence focussed on best practice, achievable goals
Working with Outsourced Technology partners and Internal Stakeholders to support the resolution of Incidents at varied severity levels
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
Extensive experience with Source to pay system landscapes, including understanding how best-practice configurations align with business processes and providing guidance to a wide range of technical and functional stakeholders.
Experience with the following software: SAP Ariba (Guided Buying, Sourcing, Contracting, SLP, Risk, Managed Gateway), SAP Contract Intelligence powered by Icertis, SAP ECC6 (MM), SAP MDG, Opentext VIM/CC4S,
Experience reviewing Technical and Functional Documentation, identifying and revising based on quality, clarity and completeness
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, translating and imparting technical concepts into audience relevant information
Understanding the necessity of security, access control and segregation of duties in system design
DESIRED
Experience with the following software: SAP S/4 Hana (MM), SAP Netweaver Portal, SAP Fiori, SAP Signavio, SAP Joule, SAP Walkme
Awareness of regulatory compliance requirements in Public Sector Procurement
Experience with External Audit processes
