Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our Flexible Services team.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Talent Engagement Executive to join our Flexible Services team in one of our regional offices on a 6-month fixed term contract. The role will be responsible for implementing the global talent engagement strategy within the UK, leading on Engagement and Recruitment activities for our consultant lawyer Hub.
The Senior Talent Engagement Executive will be responsible for:
Engagement:
Outbound engagement - engaging (via call and email) our talent base to maintain connectivity
Initiating, organising (with marketing support) and attending candidate-facing events
Robust database management - accurately recording activity and updating records, actively refreshing candidate profiles regularly
Ownership of weekly candidate check-in meeting with the broader Account Management team
Maintaining talent pools in the UK
Recruitment:
Acting as first point of contact to enquiries from new potential contractors
Advertising roles on LinkedIn and identifying other channels for us to reach talent.
Headhunting and market mapping talent for specific roles
Managing the UK recruitment funnel: reviewing applications, pre-screening candidates, providing feedback to all applicants and progressing applications to the next stage of the process
Providing input to continuously enhance our recruitment process
Collaborating with other Pinsent Masons talent teams to share talent and best practice
Other Responsibilities
Supporting the Talent Engagement lead on strategic engagement projects in line with business need. Recent project examples include the launch of a training platform and Diversity reporting
Establishing trusted relationships with the Account Management team
Actively seek new and innovative ideas to engage legal talent and promote the Pinsent Masons Vario brand
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Please note - this role is a 6-month fixed term contract.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
Experience of working in a professional services environment with a strong customer service mentality
Robust understanding of the legal market and the sectors in which Pinsent Masons operates
Legal or professional recruitment experience, LinkedIn Recruiter experience would be desirable
Is energised by outbound contact - making calls and keeping in touch with candidates
Organised and logical approach - ensuring all enquiries are dealt with in a timely, professional, and warm way Likewise, all activity is accurately recorded on our database
A team player who goes the extra mile to ensure quality of output
