As part of our growth, we are seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our team, with the potential for future progression to Director level.

The Opportunity



This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to lead corporate tax compliance and advisory services for the practice. They will take ownership of a diverse and technically challenging portfolio and play a key role in delivering high-level tax advisory and compliance services, with a focus on complex trust, restructuring, and succession planning work. Key Responsibilities



Client Advisory and Relationship Management



Maintain and grow strong client relationships by acting as trusted advisor; the foundation for all effective advisory and compliance work.

Technical Advisory and Project Leadership



Actively guide the team to deliver expert advice and project leadership that represents the main value delivered to clients.

Advise on the implementation, benefits, drawbacks, and ongoing compliance of Discretionary Trusts and other specialist trusts. Lead on Capital Reduction demergers and high-level tax restructures, providing strategic guidance throughout the process. Manage and advise on a range of transactions, including business sales, acquisitions, and reorganisations. Advise on and implement Employee Ownership Trusts and related structures. Develop and deliver exit strategies and succession planning for business owners. Provide expert Inheritance Tax planning, including the use of Family Investment Companies. Advise on Capital Gains Tax matters, ensuring clients receive optimal outcomes.?

Team and Practice Development



Support the team and maintain technical excellence, essential for long-term success and service quality.

Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture. Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and best practice.?

Candidate Profile



Essential Qualifications:



CTA qualification is essential; ACA/ACCA or equivalent also desirable.

Required Experience & Technical Expertise:



Proven experience as a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager in a practice environment.

Strong technical expertise in:

Implementing, advising on, and managing the ongoing compliance of Discretionary Trusts and other specialist trusts, including assessing benefits and drawbacks. Capital Reduction demergers and high-level tax restructures. Managing and advising on a range of transactions, such as business sales, acquisitions, and reorganisations. Inheritance Tax planning, including the use of Family Investment Companies. Capital Gains Tax matters, ensuring clients receive optimal outcomes.

Core Skills & Attributes



Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Ability to communicate complex tax issues clearly to clients and colleagues. Experience managing client relationships and delivering exceptional service. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
