We are looking for a

Senior Tax Manager

to join us on a full time, permanent basis, to be based from our UK head office in Northampton.

We're looking to offer a salary of

80,000 - 90,000

depending on experience, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). Your benefits package includes a

What you'll do on a typical day:



Manage all corporate income tax (CIT) matters for UK & Ireland, including US GAAP and local statutory tax accounting and reporting Oversee CIT compliance, working with external service providers under co-sourcing arrangements Handle cash tax payments, forecasting, and R&D credits, as well as Capital Allowances and Plastic Packaging Tax Support transfer pricing, manage tax audits, and secure tax advice for strategic decisions Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to implement tax structuring opportunities


What you need to succeed at GXO:



ACA or CTA (or equivalent) qualified, with strong CIT and VAT knowledge Extensive tax experience in a Big-4 and/or in-house environment, ideally within a US multinational Expertise in US GAAP/IFRS tax accounting, including ASC 740/IAS 12, and familiarity with SOX requirements Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines Skilled in ERP systems (Oracle/SAP/HFM) and open to occasional travel within the UK and Europe.
