Overview
This role will suit someone who has strong senior care experience and is looking to take the next step in their leadership career.
To be considered for this role you will have a strong senior care back ground and the ability to organise a staff team and manage the floor efficiently and effectively. You will have a minimum of NVQ level 3 or be working towards this. You will have previous medication administration experience.
The ideal candidate for this role will have taken on additional responsibilities in their previous role, for example; Reviewing care plans, medication ordering and monthly medication change over, supervising staff and liaising with outside professionals such as GP, District Nurses, Social Care etc. (This list is not exhaustive)
You must have good literacy and numeracy skills and excellent spoken English for this role.
Skills
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Proficient in developing and managing care plans that cater to individual resident needs.
Competent IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively within the team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Experience in a care home setting is highly desirable, particularly within senior care environments.
Ability to drive initiatives that improve resident satisfaction and overall quality of life.
Proven experience in supervising teams, demonstrating effective management capabilities.
