About the role (External)
About this role - Microsoft Collaboration Platform Support (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)

  • We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in supporting and managing Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, specifically SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in:
  • Installation, configuration, security, and operational management of SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive for Business within an enterprise environment.
  • SharePoint site architecture and governance, including permissions models, content types, metadata, and document libraries.
  • Teams administration, including channel structure, policies, app integrations, and lifecycle management.
  • OneDrive support, focusing on sync issues, sharing controls, and data recovery.
Additional beneficial experience includes:
  • Design and implementation of automated workflows using Power Automate and integration with SharePoint lists and Teams notifications.
  • Troubleshooting and support for Microsoft 365 collaboration features, including co-authoring, versioning, and external sharing.
  • Understanding of compliance and data protection policies as they apply to Microsoft 365 services.

Essential
  • Development and implementation experience in the application / technology supported
  • Strong design skills; works closely with analysts and technical support team to explore different technical design approaches and make design recommendations to fit high-level business requirements
  • Ability to manage activities with short due dates while still following established change control processes
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, written and presentation.
  • Identified Subject Matter Expert within a technical area of expertise (for example, middleware, oracle, Microsoft, mobile, ERP, Java etc.)
Desirable
  • Understanding of project lifecycles
  • Commitment to meeting deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
