Senior Technician - Flood and Fire Restoration Required!

Here at Bio Response, our Insurance department specialises in restoring properties affected by fire and water damage. We are currently seeking a dedicated Senior Technician to join our dynamic team and lead our insurance-related restoration projects.

This role is on an employed basis covering predominantly the South of the UK.

What will I be responsible for?

Joining our team as a Senior Technician, your day to day responsibilities will include:

Oversee flood and fire restoration projects from initial assessment through to completion, ensuring high standards of service and quality. Collaborate with insurance loss adjusters and clients to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs. Lead a team of technicians, providing training and guidance to ensure best practices in restoration techniques and safety protocols. Conduct thorough inspections and assessments to develop detailed work plans and cost estimates for insurance claims. Participate in stripping out, remediation, cleaning, packing, moving and being responsible for maintaining a clean and safe job site. Using latest techniques and equipment, carry out necessary damage mitigation and restoration works to the highest standards. Carry out moisture surveys and drying techniques, using heavy duty equipment. Able to complete paperwork accurately and timely.

The successful candidate would have proven experience as a Senior Technician in the flood and fire restoration sector, with a focus on insurance jobs along with:

Possess a full UK driving licence and willing to travel as needed. Strong understanding of restoration techniques, equipment, and safety regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and insurance adjuster interactions. BDMA / Dewpoint qualification is preferred but not essential. Able to pass a security / DBS check.
