We are seeking an experienced Senior Technician with strong leadership skills to join our Technical Support Team within the School of Construction.

In this role, you will play a central part in delivering high-quality technical support across the Faculty. You'll coordinate support activities to ensure smooth delivery of learning and teaching, working across a range of disciplines which may include joinery, art, painting and decorating, automotive and engineering. As a valued member of the Technical Support Unit, you'll also oversee the maintenance and upkeep of equipment within your allocated areas, ensuring all resources are safe, compliant and ready for use.

Our ideal candidate will hold a relevant qualification at SCQF Level 6 (HNC preferred) and bring proven supervisory experience within a similar environment. We also welcome applications from those with equivalent qualifications, apprenticeships or significant practical experience. A strong understanding of Health & Safety requirements, alongside a background in technical support and leadership, is essential.
