Hybrid (home-based, with occasional office/customer site visits - UK HQ, Longbridge, Birmingham)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Test Engineer

with expertise in both

manual and automation testing

to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of cutting-edge digital solutions delivered to our clients.

This role demands a professional with proven experience across all levels of testing, capable of setting the strategy for test automation while also contributing effectively to manual testing when needed.

You will take ownership of automated testing for

Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions

, driving the approach, maintaining frameworks, and ensuring best practices across all test activities. With an increasing number of projects involving

AI capabilities

, you'll also bring knowledge of testing AI solutions and integrating automation into these areas.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using

Playwright

and

Cucumber

Improve and evolve test automation frameworks Execute manual testing for Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform solutions Perform

API

and

Accessibility

testing Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage Integrate automated tests into

CI/CD pipelines

using

Azure DevOps

and

GitHub Actions

Develop and maintain

YAML

and

PowerShell

scripts for pipelines and deployments Ensure accessibility compliance using

Axe

or similar tools Manage secrets and configurations with

Azure Key Vault

Participate in test planning, estimation, code reviews, and risk analysis Report, track, and resolve defects collaboratively with development teams Mentor and support other QA team members

Required Experience

5+ years' experience in automated testing ISTQB Certification (Foundation or Advanced) Proven track record in both

manual and automated testing

Strong knowledge of

Microsoft Dynamics

and

Power Platform

Hands-on experience with

Agile/Scrum

methodologies Solid understanding of testing principles, automation strategies, and frameworks Proficiency with

API testing

and bug management tools (ideally

Azure DevOps

) Familiarity with

BDD

,

TDD

, or

ATDD

methodologies Ability to develop automated functional tests across

UI, API, and DB layers

Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Technological Skills
