Job Overview

We are currently supporting a market-leading engineering company in their search for a Senior Test Technician. The business designs and manufactures innovative tools that address the challenges of the evolving energy landscape, including hydrogen storage, carbon capture and storage, geothermal production, and gas storage.

This is a senior, hands-on role offering autonomy, technical variety, and the opportunity to contribute directly to the development of new technologies.

Duties

Independently manage the day-to-day running of the test facility and workshop Conduct pressure testing on precision-engineered components Collaborate closely with the engineering team on R&D and product development Contribute to design reviews for new technologies Help shape and improve workshop processes and procedures Opportunity to grow into a leadership position as the team expands

Experience

HND or degree in Engineering (or related discipline) Methodical, intuitive, and self-motivated approach Strong sense of accountability and attention to detail Comfortable working autonomously while maintaining close collaboration with engineering colleagues
