Maxxima have recently partnered with one of the UK\'s specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Theatre Practitioner -Scrub Nurse who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Brentwood, which is easily accessible via public transport.

About the role:
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner -Scrub Nurse, you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based.

Your main responsibilities as a Senior Theatre Practitioner -Scrub Nurse:

  • Work on a varied caseload using technology, equipment and facilities which are all state-of-the-art.
  • Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
  • Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients, which is always clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate.
  • Be trained as a Surgical First Assistant or be prepared to undertake the training with us at Nuffield Health.
  • Experienced in completing clinical audits where appropriate - full training will be provided.
What we are looking for in a Senior Theatre Practitioner -Scrub Nurse:
  • High levels of focus and engagement.
  • A passion for high standards and a meticulous eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and will be a great team worker. You will also be flexible and motivated.
  • Promote the best evidence based practice within own scope of practice.
  • Able to engage with colleagues at all levels across the hospital and contribute appropriately to achieving hospital goals within a multi-disciplinary team.
