Senior Therapeutic Care Worker

to join our growing team in Drakelow.

Key Responsibilities

Provide consistent, high-quality care and emotional support within a therapeutic residential setting Act as a positive role model and mentor to junior staff, providing leadership and guidance Support the creation and implementation of tailored care and support plans for each child Take part in staff meetings, handovers, and multi-agency reviews to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safeguarding and care standards Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals Contribute to a safe, stable, and nurturing environment that promotes healing and growth
What We're Looking For

NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

- essential Minimum of 1 year's experience in a children's residential setting - preferred Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role - desirable Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills Compassionate, resilient, and child-centred approach to care

Full UK Driving Licence

- required Good understanding of safeguarding legislation and residential care standards
